Reader Maurice sent me some wonderful pictures of his Costa Mesa AR-180 in the original box, including an original scope.
I think this is a great way to see how these rifles were originally sent out when they were sold new.

recently I was offered a Costa Mesa AR-180 supposedly unfired and in the box, due to the lack of cash and other projects I passed om the deal which was about 2K first on gunboards then it was sold on Gunbroker very similar to this presentation

Rick re the Howa floorplate that appears to be for the 30rd mag I wonder if Pete Fleis might have some left in his stash of parts. I remember you had one of the 30rd mags with a marked floorplate that came with your Costa Mesa, might be worth checking what style that one is, 20 or 30 rd. Rich.
