It is truly amazing what someone with better equipment and more skill than I, can do with a camera. Subscriber Casey fits that description. He sent me a link to his Flickr album and I was blown away. I think his detailed close up pictures are an amazing edition to the future of our collecting hobby. They show just how refined the late Costa Mesa guns were near the end of production. I own a late example my self and I think it rivals the Howa guns for fit and finish.
